| Integrated Warehousing Solutions (IWS) has introduced a .NET version of its IRMS WMS, which taps thin-client technology to reduce response time, improve querying efficiency, and lower the cost of next-generation integration with a broad range of options, from traditional files and XML to Web services and Java messaging systems. By separating the business logic from the user interface and relying on a proxy server to provide easy integration points, IRMS.net gives users access to critical information quickly and in an easy-to-navigate environment.
IWS also introduced IRMS Analytics, which addresses the growing need of operations managers for instant analysis of how well goods are moving through the warehouse. IRMS Analytics delivers a fast, accurate visual representation of operational performance to provide management with insight critical to making informed business decisions. Historically, this insight required hours of work extrapolating numbers and creating charts in Excel. With IRMS Analytics, managers and executives simply define the graphical representation they prefer and instantly see current state, key performance indicators, and historical perspective in any number of formats. The analytics tool allows for click-and-see drilling down for details and customized reports for sharing information throughout the organization.
